Greg L. Drevenstedt is principal of Valmont Research LLC. He has been managing research projects, publishing articles, and giving presentations for over a decade.
Born in Nashville, Greg lived in the Southeast most of his life. He spent seven years in Philadelphia earning his PhD in Demography and Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and working as a project manager for National Analysts, Inc., a premier market research firm renowned for state-of-the-art data collection and analysis. In 2003, Greg moved to New Orleans and launched Valmont Research. In 2006, Greg relocated to Los Angeles. In addition to managing Valmont Research, he is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Andrus Gerontology Center at the University of Southern California.
Greg’s research and project management experience includes quantitative and qualitative research projects for many leading national and multinational companies. His work has addressed numerous market research issues, including concept testing, market segmentation, and trade-off analysis. In addition to gaining insight in various industries, Greg gained expertise developing effective online surveys and conducting in-depth interviews.
In addition to his PhD, Greg has a BA from the University of Florida. His recent author credits include articles for Orthodontic Products, JADA – The Journal of the American Dental Association, The Blair-McGill Advisory, Dental Practice Report, and Trojan Today. He is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Committee for Dental Practice Report.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys running, swimming, and exploring Southern California by motorcycle.
